Production: Puglia (Apulia).

Production area: Puglia, hills north of Bari, in the DOC area of Castel del Monte; 480mt asl.

Soil type: Calcareous, clay.

Altitude: 480 m above sea level.

Grape variety: 100% Uva di Troia.

Vinification: Partial dryng of the grapes in the field. Fermentation with long maceration of 15-20 days at controlled temperature and with selected yeasts.

Ageing: 8 months in concrete tanks, 12 months in French oak barrels.

Tasting notes:
Colours: intense ruby red with purple/hues.
Bouquet: Fruity with hints of cherry, blackberry, blueberry and elegant spicy hints. Finish pleasant with elegant notes of vanilla and chocolate.
Taste: Full, harmonious, persistent, wisely tannic. It conforms the rich and elegant bouquet on the palate.

Best served with: Red meat, ages cheese, game dishes, lamb. Excellent as a meditation wine.

Serving tips: Decant before serving. To be servedat 16°-18°C.

Alcohol: 14% vol.
